I love to worship 
and even became so bald as to declare myself a 
worshipper
after hearing a woman affix that level to herself 
and felt inclined to do the same. 

You’re always singing 
my mom notes 
and with borrowed words from her own mom she adds 
that means you have a joyful heart 

More than just a song,
I want my life to be worship 
to be a living sacrifice

For my true and proper worship ¹
is to worship the Father in spirit and in truth ²

It’s a daily surrender 
one that I must remind myself of when my flesh insists on living it’s own way 
but for the One who gave His life
how could I not give my all?
