Surrendered Faith: A faith that says I believe that God can do it, but even if He doesn’t, I have confidence and trust in His wisdom, sovereignty, goodness, faithfulness, and love.

A bold faith is still surrendered.

I’ve been reflecting on a time period where I had bold faith for the impossible and was left disappointed. I can see now that what I believed were God’s plans were really my own, but it didn’t shake the devastation I felt at the time.

But like everything else in my life, I can say thank you, because the experience taught me what faith really was. My circumstances didn’t change the Father’s character and if my situation didn’t turn out how I wanted, I could trust that His plan was better.

It always is.
